Born from humble beginnings, Business Centres Direct started as a collaboration between colleagues who saw the unique benefits of their collective skillsets and experience, and also saw a huge injustice in the sheer vastness of prime premises sitting unused. Business Centres Direct was built to do one thing: turn underused commercial centres into prosperous, collaborative places.
With over two decades of combined experience in the commercial property sector, the management team at Business Centres Direct offer a unique set of skills, perfectly aligned to revitalise vacant commercial premises into thriving, revenue-generating space. A winning combination of marketing mavericks, sales strategists, HR heroes and fitout fanatics create a team who can transform underperforming buildings into dynamic, functional workspaces. We don’t just fill a space and move on; we’re there for it all from broker management, to tenancy renewals and even choosing the right IT infrastructure to complement your space.

That’s why we’ve created Business Centres Direct: two distinct services, with two expert teams under one roof. One to manage your space, the other to transform it, so you don’t have to juggle five different contractors just to get one job done.
We’ve seen a decline in commercial space use for the last 5 years but the UK commercial property market was valued at £1.3 trillion in Q1 2025. Vacancy rates have spiked to over 8%, which is the highest since 2015, meaning now is the time to strike. With more quality buildings sitting idle, there’s never been a better time to step in and unlock their potential. That’s where we come in: to jump-start performance, enhance returns, and keep spaces busy.
So far, we’ve achieved this in Failsworth, Huddersfield, Radford, Lenton, Nottingham, Cardiff, Stockton, Sunderland, Derby and Plymouth, and we’re just getting warmed up.

Business Centres Direct offered a budget that would allow us to create 7 offices at 1,300 square foot billable, a meeting room, a new kitchen and a new comms line to provide private and secure comms. Our 3,500 square foot open-plan office in Sunderland was gathering dust. BCD provided us with a project plan that showed we could use the space to develop 15 smaller serviced offices. This was a game changer, they developed site, upgraded the toilets and kitchens and we are now ready to roll out the sales and marketing plans to fill our new serviced offices.
